Why play adventure at fever pitch?
You have to reach the rappelling rock by crossing the dam and then trek a bit to reach

Rappelling is the controlled descent down a rock face using a rope. Climbers use
this technique when a cliff or slope is too steep and/or dangerous to descend without
protection. Rope access technicians also use this as a method to access difficult to
reach areas at height for various industrial applications like maintenance, construction,
inspection and welding. Rescue teams are also known for using this method as a way
to access injured or stranded victims. In simpler terms Rappelling is nothing but a way
to move down from a steep rock with the help of ropes and other gear. Rappelling
is an activity that can give you those adrenaline rushes. There are several types to
it but the most common is to stand vertical to the wall while you are tied with ropes,
harnessed properly and you descend down maneuvering the rope movement. It is a
very interesting technique to learn and once you have done it you will want to do it

on an incline. It is designed to enable a user, propelled by gravity, to travel from the top
to the bottom of the inclined cable by holding onto, or attaching to, the freely moving

Jumaring is a type of rope activity where in a vertical rope climbing or Ascending.
It is to be done by utilizing a specifically designed kit called a Jumar kit, also
called Jumar clamp or Climbing Ascenders.
The kit consists of ropes, safety harness and a clamp with a handle that can move
freely up a rope on which it is clipped but locks when downward pressure is applied.
A combination of pulling the right and left Jumar clamps while in tandem with
“crouching” or “sitting” with the help of a harness and standing on the “loop” of the rope
is required to ascend the vertical challenge.
Requiring minimal effort or arm strength but a little of technique, this is one a challenge
unto its own.
The purpose is ascending on a rope and reaching the top of tree following which is the

Commando Walk:
Also called a balance walk, tight rope walking with harness, is an adventurous rope activity.
The basic theme is to perform tight rope walking a few feet meters above the ground.
The balance walk will be done in between two trees with dry land underneath the tight
rope while being harness to a sling tape and a safety belay rope above.
The balance walk will test the sense of balance and also test the degree to which we
are in tune with our upper and lower body.
Certainly a worthy challenge and most certainly earns bragging rights if you manage to
finish the fastest.
